CANDIDATE NOMINATING REQUIRED FORMS

The information and forms located within this file are in compliance with the procedure approved by the LHHA Board of Directors.  These have been followed in each Election cycle.  They will be adhered to moving forward as well.  Any changes that are required due to mandates in FS 723, the Administrative Code or LHHA Bylaws will be updated as required.  The language contained in these documents is current.  Any additional format changes, etc. will be uploaded as they are provided.

The Election Committee will make these documents available as well.

Each candidate must file the following:

  • A resume complete with photo (head shot) which may be posted on the LHHA website, bulletin boards in the Clubhouse or by other means distributed to the members of LHHA by each candidate.
  • Statement of Candidacy
  • Candidate Notice
Above documents must be submitted to the Election Committee by August 30.

It is recommended that all newly elected Board Members take the training course that is offered in the area.  This not only fulfills the State Law requirement of training with 90 days of taking a seat on the Board, but it is also a valuable networking tool.  The registration fee for the course is paid by LHHA.  In lieu of this course, if the timing does not work, a certification form can be obtained from the Board, completed and placed on file.

Nominations from the floor must be made at least 27 days in advance of the Annual Meeting.  This takes place at the LHHA October meeting as the Annual Meeting is in November.
